We are in pursuit to build the most diverse gut health community that values storytelling experiences, sharing valuable insights, and being generous and caring to each other. 💙💚Currently in our diverse tribe we have like-minded folks that are impacted by digestive disorders like IBD, expert GI researchers, integrative medicine practitioners, nutritionists, registered dietitians, caregivers, GI cancer warriors, and many other folks that care about general gut health.
Our founder Kimon Angelides started Vivante Health in 2016 with the mission to help those with invisible, neglected, and stigmatized chronic illness to overcome the daily barriers standing in their way. He started with digestive diseases because an astonishing 70M in the US live with some digestive disorder that impacts their home, work, and social lives. And no one really wants to talk about them.
Vivante's goal is to begin the dialog, to bring attention to these conditions and to educate those others who don’t understand how someone who doesn’t look sick is really struggling on the inside. Our vision is to marry our state of the art technologies with human touch to help folks manage their GI conditions.
An important part of that human touch is where we allow our community members to share their stories and experiences with each other at an inclusive environment. We believe in the power of community as medicine! Together, we’re creating a valuable collection of gut health enthusiasts, their stories and shared resources for not only living with digestive disorders but thriving with it.
